What: I have been teaching private guitar lessons for about a decade and I have long wanted to get more into group settings with students, especially group improvisation and composition. I am very inspired by the idea of an etude- a composition made to help practice a certain musical concept or technique. That is sort of the end goal here, to compose some etude together to help advance our playing and knowledge. I thought this was an excellent opportunity to begin building lesson plans and conceptual repertoire about this sort of stuff. Some basic ability on the guitar is needed, though I will attempt to accommodate a variety of skill levels. I can provide a couple guitars, but best if you bring your own, and something to write on.

What to Bring: Guitar, pen & pad. Any snacks and beverages you need.
