Who: All ages. Under 18 years old must be accompanied by a guardian. No yoga experience needed.

Cost: RSVP HERE. Limited space. Suggested sliding scale donation of $10 accepted on site. Cash or digital payment. Also a NOTAFLOF event.

What: Join Carolina Duncan Page for this 45 minute workshop to learn breathing techniques that lead to laughter. Laughing is a great practice to carry into our daily life. We can laugh by ourselves or with others, laughing for more than 5 mins releases all the happy juices in the body and the health, emotional and psychological benefits are amazing, basically you’ll walk down the street with a smile on your face!

What to bring: Optional - a towel or yoga mat to sit on the floor. Snacks or beverages of your choice. Water provided.

Carolina Duncan Page specializes in social circus education. She’s a former Ringling Brothers clown, has toured and perform solo clown work for the past 15 years. Certified Laughter Yoga leader since 2017.

    CAR. There is street parking. It is a residential neighborhood. Thursday and Friday are street cleaning days with parking restrictions between 1230p-330p. If you find parking limited outside the space, please try Brush St. It is the street at the end of the block. Do NOT leave any valuables in your car.

    BART. NewNow is a 10-12 minute walk from 19th Street Oakland BART. Arriving from San Francisco, you may prefer to take the first stop (West Oakland) and take a 5 minute LYFT or bike from there. The shortest distance to walk is from 19th St. BART.

    BIKE. Bring your bike into NewNow. There is a secure area in the backyard.

  • NewNow is a blue-gray building at the corner of 21st and West. There is no outside building signage. There is one 4 inch step into the space and two 4 inch steps down into the backyard. Typical to Bay Area spaces, there is no air conditioning. The space is usually comfortable with overhead fans and open windows. To help further prepare for your visit contact: info@newnow.live
