What: COMEDIC DANCE is a 2-hour dancey workshop facilitated by Helen Park.

This is a space to tap into that time when we were little kids and would move around to music, with little or no self-consciousness. We will let the music inspire movement, follow our intuition, and explore our creativity. We will be doing improvisational dancey games and exercises to a range of music, play with some props, and share some moves. It's gonna be playful, possibly absurd, and it might look real funny and feel funny (and fun.)

Whether you're an improviser, clown, dancer, non-dancer, or someone looking to shake off some old cobwebs, this workshop is for you. The only prerequisite is to like music.

What to bring: Comfortable clothes and shoes to move in. Snacks and beverages you need. Water provided on site.
